When I first decided I would be heading to the Canadian Rockies during wintertime, everyone was trying to convince me that winter is not a good time to go there. I could not disagree more! I’ve never experienced a more picturesque winter wonderland and it was truly a trip of a lifetime. Of course it’s amazing during the warmer months, but I highly suggest planning a trip there during the winter. Pictures honestly don’t do it justice, but here’s a little taste to get you inspired….

Dogsledding through the Canadian Rocky Mountains in Canmore, Alberta.
Exploring through winter wonderlands in Yoho National Park.
The Emerald Lake Lodge in Field, British Columbia.
This hidden gem in Johnston Canyon, Banff National Park, I found from venturing through a cave.
