Travel Company Review: Backroads ~ Canadian Rockies

IMG_1269.JPG

Activities: Snowshoeing, dog-sledding, walking (with ice cleats), and ice skating.

National Parks visited: Banff, Kootenay, and Yoho

Lodging: The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Emerald Lake Lodge, the Post Hotel. All three of these had their own, unique charm.

Trip Leaders/Guides: For our group of 16 adults, we had two amazing trip leaders: Heather and Sarah! They were a perfect match and we were shocked to find out that it was their first time leading together. Both of them went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having the best possible experience, and they were happy to do so. I honestly do not think the trip would have been as incredible as it was without them.

Overall Review: Five Stars. This was surely a trip of a lifetime. The one word that comes to mind when I try to describe it, is “magical”. My expectations were pretty high to begin with, yet they exceeded them by a landslide. Backroads COMPLETELY blew me away.

Just now seeing your comment, but yeah I am so impressed with the leaders! They have an awesome job, but wow they really go above and beyond!
